Course 1 (Prarambhik)

In this video series recorded exclusively by Dr. Gopa Chakrabarti, you will learn the entire course of Hindustani Classical Music - Prarambhik (1st year) under Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya.

With daily riyaaz, the students will learn:

To identify their scale
Understand, recognize and sing notes
Sing 7 different raagas
Various bandish and swarmaalikas
Different kinds of taals (beats)
Theoretical information

Indian Residents @10,000 INR / year course

Foreign Residents @180 USD / year course

We suggest that before taking course 2 or any course after that, please make sure that your basic foundation is strong. Hence, it is advised to start from Year 1.

Course 2 (Praveshika Pratham)

In this video series recorded exclusively by Dr. Gopa Chakrabarti, you will learn the entire course of Hindustani Classical Music - Praveshika Pratham (2nd year) under Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya.

With daily riyaaz, the students will learn:

Aalap-chaari
to sing Taans
Gamak
7 + 1 raagas
various Lakshan geet
Dhrupad singing with laykaari

Indian Residents @12,000 INR / year course

Foreign Residents @200 USD / year course
